Our Pediatricians

Dr. Sammy Kim is a board-certified pediatrician at Balboa Pediatrics, where he provides comprehensive, compassionate, and family-centered care for children from infancy through early adulthood.

He followed his childhood dream of becoming a Doctor and received his dual-degree M.D./M.B.A. from the USC Keck School of Medicine and the Marshall School of Business. He then completed his Pediatric training at LAC+USC Medical Center before helping grow a successful private practice in the San Fernando Valley.

Dr. Sammy is passionate about transforming Pediatrics for the benefit of both patients and his colleagues. That personal pursuit has led to various roles within healthcare start-ups, ranging from the CMO of Carelinq to the VP of Clinical Operations at Heal. 

His drive is to provide Pediatric healthcare that is not only of top-notch quality but also accessible to all patients. Dr. Sammy and his team ensure personalized assessment for your child throughout every step of their growth and development. 

From newborn care to annual physicals as adults, Dr. Sammy and his team ensure personalized assessment throughout every step of your child’s growth journey. 

Outside the office, Dr. Sammy enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the USC Trojans, and practicing various sports, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
